My research interests include but are not limited to the following:

— language learning motivation
— pronunciation
— affective factors
— individual differences in learning
— learning strategies and styles
— pedagogy


I am also interested in exploring (more of) the following:

— punctuation
— how popular media may be used in English language education (e.g., Star Wars)
— aspects regarding the following of spoken and written instructions
— pedagogical matters with respect to people on the autism spectrum :)

I believe that investigating these and other areas not only raises instructors' knowledge about teaching and learning in general, but the results and conclusions generated from such investigations can lead directly to instructors tailoring their courses in ways that may best benefit their students.
